I’m reading Samantha Power’s “A Problem From Hell” America and the Age of Genocide. It is extremely well-organized.
My grandparents are here in North Carolina to visit me. My grandfather doesn’t talk about losing his entire family in the Holocaust or spending years in a Nazi concentration camp, but he did one of those Spielberg recorded interviews and my grandmother told me that she’ll leave it to me in her will. She has been acting strange for the past few days, like I’ll never see her again or something.
I guess my grandparents have been married for over 60 years, and they are still very much in love. Things were different when she was my age.
On that note, I love this cat and girl.
